Mashpee, Massachusetts

Mashpee (including New Seabury, Popponesset, Mashpee Neck, Monomoscoy Island, Popponesset Island, Seabrook, and Seconsett Isalnd) has a unique history, firmly rooted in its Native American Wampanoag background. It is considered to be on the “upper” cape and it is located in Barnstable County. It has experienced steady but sustainable growth over the past few years. With Popponesset Marketplace and Mashpee Commons it is know as something of a retail mecca. Vineyard and Nantucket Sound beaches, several parks and wildlife sanctuaries make it a great beach community. The Boch Center for the Performing Arts is also located in Mashpee. Mashpee has something for everyone.
